Summer Studio - Drexel University - 2011

Drexel University showcases the several short plays written by playwrighting students as a way to introduce incoming freshman to the Drexel theater program and the Drexel Players. These plays are typically called the Summer Studio of Student Written Work.

Nick Anselmo has asked me on several occasions to work on creating slides to set a time and place for each play for these performances. Here are several images showcasing videos I've created for these intimate performances.

The Yogurt Land slide was interesting because the actor in this monologue specifies a time at the end of the piece. So the clock on screen had to move in real time and stop at that specific time without being super noticeable.

In this piece it was a home in the suburbs where a man exacts revenge on his cheating wife's 'other man.'

I had to create an unfinished nursery for a pair of soon to be parents. In this slide the trees moved in the wind, adding a subtle touch of life to an otherwise still image.
